Throwback Thursday: My Old Kentucky Home

Heaven must be a Kentucky kind of place.”- Daniel Boone

This time of year I miss the fall colors of Kentucky.  I took this photo October of 2005 while we were visiting My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown, KY.  The park was gorgeous and filled with trees rich in colors of gold, reds, and oranges.  It was so beautiful and we enjoyed it so much.

Such good memories ๐Ÿ

  1. oh what a gorgeous view! I'm thinking a lot about Kentucky right now - started Jayber Crow yesterday. He describes a lot about the people and the place, and I would love to visit (well, today - the story starts out in the early 1900's and I don't think I would've liked that at all ... anywhere!)

    1. It was gorgeous Mary and is always like this in the fall. It’s a beautiful state with so many neat, and interesting places to visit. I hope some day we can return there to live. I’ll have to check out Jayber Crow, sounds like an interesting author.
