Saturday Morning Vibes

We woke up to 65 degrees this morning, perfect for sitting outside on our patio with our coffee.  My husband and I are so very excited to see the temperatures dropping, and I look forward to more time outside in our back yard!

I have made great progress on my Primrose Cottage Stitches Halloween pattern.  I’m so happy that I discovered a quick technique called Stitch in Hand and want to say thank you to Katie for sharing this awesome tip !  It makes cross stitching so much more enjoyable and as Katie mentioned in her post, quite meditative too.

Not too much going on with my socks and sweater, but I did cast on a hat using my single leftover skein of Malabrigo Rios in Pearl.  This is a project that I’m working on during my training sessions for my new position with my company, and it’s perfect mindless knitting.  The pattern I’m using is the Photographer’s Hat by Lavanya Patricella, a free Ravelry download.

For this weekend my husband and I are taking it easy, which is the perfect time for me to work on my projects.  We do plan to go out for a bit to pick up a few herbs to to pot.  I want to start getting things potted now so we can have a decent growing cycle for our container gardening.

Enjoy your day!

Tina
